Clayhidon village ball, July 2010
Clayhidon has again pulled out the stops to raise more than £6,000 with a charity ball at Gladhayes Farm. More than 200 people attended.
The money was divided equally between The Children's Hospice South West and Cancer Research UK.
The event was held in a marquee and was organised by a small committee led by Nicola and John Bendle. Music was by the Taunton Deane Big Band.
Fund raising included an auction of promises, amusingly conducted by Philip Kerr, and a raffle.
