2.                    Minutes from previous meeting

PROPOSAL:  The minutes of the meeting on 12th August are approved.

3.            Financial Update

The charity has received most of any income due with the exception of that from the Mary Parsons Trust.    

Current Account £505.41

Deposit Account £501.14

Income of £242.20 is outstanding and due to be paid.

 

4.            Consider payments to beneficiaries

PROPOSAL:  A payment of £500 is made to the Blackdown Support Group.

5.            Asset Review & Rents payable

Mr Langford is progressing with the work to register the parcels of land, etc.  In the meantime, the trustees agreed the rents should remain unchanged for this financial year.  Mrs Evans to write to tenants informing them of this decision.

6.           RPA Update

Mrs Evans has registered with the RPA.  Mr Langford is progressing this matter to ensure all land owned by charity/council is registered under one RPA account for ease of administration and for potential gain from future schemes.  The parish council will hold the account and any future benefits derived from charity land will be passed on to the charity.

7.           Land Ownership Registration

Mr Langford had made some initial enquiries with Land Registry reference ownership registration and has incurred costs of £24.00 to be reimbursed.  Further work is necessary.

8.                  Mary Parson Trust

The 3 Clayhidon trustees met with the 3 Churchstanton trustees in February and discussed the future of the Mary Parsons Gift Trust.  A further meeting will be held 12th September.  

 

9.           Wiltown Turbary

Mrs Hay is coordinating the project to clear the laurel with Blackdown Hills Natural Futures Team.  Most of the funding has been secured to complete the works in the autumn with grants from the Sustainable Development Fund, Tap Fund, and 106 monies.  The project will require a further £251.60 and it is hoped this will be met during the year from other funding opportunities.
