Applications considered for:-

4.1                 18/00499/HOUSE.  Crockers Farm, Hemyock.  Conversion of outbuildings to ancillary accommodation.

PROPOSAL:    the parish council is content with the application. 

PROPOSED:    Mr Langford

DECISION: passed.  (all in favour)

4.2        18/00500/LBC.  Crockers Farm, Hemyock.  Listed Building Consent for the conversion of outbuildings to ancillary accommodation.

PROPOSAL:    the parish council is content with the application.

DECISION: passed.  (all in favour)

4.3        18/00641/FULL.  Beamley Bungalow, Hemyock.  Erection of a replacement dwelling with new access track.

PROPOSAL:    the parish council is content with the application but would be keen to see the track shortened and a condition added that the existing bungalow is demolished upon completion of the new dwelling.

4.4        18/00643/FULL.  Higher & Lower Barn, Heazle, Clayhidon.  Retention of change of use of ancillary domestic office space to a self-contained holiday let.  (amended description and additional information)

PROPOSAL:    the parish council has no comment to make on the application.

6.1      would councillors let the clerk know if there are any salt bins that need filling.

7.1       The clerk was asked to obtain an update from MDDC enforcement reference Tickle Penny.

8.1            Mr Bendle asked for an update from Highways reference work needed at entrance to St Andrews. 

8.2        Clerk was asked to write to parishioners at Brookdale to ask them to cut back their hedge. 

8.3        Clerk asked to write to Half Moon to ask them to tidy The Pound area.

9.                 Date of next meeting

Monday 13th August at 7.30pm, Church Rooms. 

 

10.     Exclude Press & Public

Chair moved under Section 1, Paragraph 2 of The Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business because publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the commercially sensitive/confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

11.     Mary Parsons Trust

The chair updated the group on the latest developments with the trust.  The trustees hope to register the parcel of land with the Land Registry shortly.  The existing tenant is due to vacate the field at the end of October.  The council is in support of:- registering the land, consideration of a sale of the land at a future date, not incurring legal costs to pursue the remote possibility of gaining planning permission.
