3.                Planning

The following applications were considered:-

3.1       16/01233/HOUSE.  Graddage Farm, Clayhidon.  Erection of extension to garage.

PROPOSAL:  the council supports the application with no further comment.

PROPOSED:   Mr G Langford

DECISION: passed (all in favour)

3.2       16/01334/HOUSE.  Higher Heazle, Clayhidon.  Alterations and erection of extension.

PROPOSAL:  the council supports the application with no further comment.

PROPOSED:   Mrs S Hay

SECONDED:  Mrs A Weekes

DECISION: passed (all in favour)

The discharge of condition noted for:

3.3       16/00841/FULL.  Mill View, Clayhidon.  Erection of an agricultural building following demolition of 2 existing agricultural buildingsCondition(s):  Prior to their use details are to be provided of the colour (RAL/BS Number) of the profile sheeting. In addition, the Yorkshire boarding will remain un-treated and a natural colour, details of the boards are to be supplied.  Please note that we have received further details on the above application and they are available for your perusal.

Permission granted for the following noted:-

3.4       16/00302/FULL.  Cornerways, Rosemary Lane.  Erection of a rural worker’s dwelling.

 

4.                Gigaclear

Erica Stanford from Gigaclear updated the meeting on the company’s plans for Clayhidon.  Gigaclear will be holding a public meeting shortly to inform residents of the opportunity for some in the parish to receive ultra-fast broadband.  Please see Gigaclear.com for more information and look out on the village website for details of the forthcoming meeting. 

 

5.                Items raised by Chairman

Nothing to report. 

 

 

6.                Items raised by Councillor

6.1            A mobile home has been installed in a barn behind Wiltown Farm.  Clerk to report to Enforcement Officer at MDDC.

6.2            Mr A Hill informed the council that he wished to resign as a parish councillor.  He was thanked for his time and efforts.  The clerk will inform MDDC Electoral Services and the Casual Vacancy procedure will commence. 

6.3            Mr R Drew reported that it was impossible to cut the hedges from top to bottom because the verges remain unploughed.  Clerk to report to Highways.
